A warm welcome from us, Paul and Lisa to The Old Barn Retreat family run touring site and luxury holiday cottages situated on the beautiful East Lincolnshire coast between Sutton-On-Sea and Alford.
We are tucked away in a delightful rural setting with the most amazing big skies and far reaching Lincolnshire landscapes but less than 3 miles from stunning unspoilt dog friendly beaches. Experience the best of both coast and countryside! The Old Barn Retreat is perfect for a blissful few days away with just the gentle coast road passing our door, making it both easily accessible, even for the largest of motorhomes and peaceful at the same time!
There is much to enjoy and explore in the local area. You might want to try the delights of locally-sourced farm produce, renowned fish and chips or take a gentle stroll in the fresh sea air along the promenade at Sutton-On-Sea. We are perfectly situated for visits to Mablethorpe and Skegness, typical seaside towns or alternatively the historic market towns of Alford, Louth and Horncastle in the beautiful wolds countryside with their traditional markets and antique shops.
If you are an aviation enthusiast then we are close to The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Coningsby and the East Kirkby Aviation Museum with regular Lancaster taxi runs.
There are well stocked fishing lakes just a couple of miles away which charge a daily rod fee and plenty of places of historic interest to visit.

For that extra bit of holiday luxury, we also have two beautifully appointed, dog friendly self catering holiday cottages each with private outdoor space and off road parking.

A family run adult only, dog friendly touring site for caravans, motorhomes and campervans. Large spacious pitches set in beautifully maintained grounds with immaculate modern amenities. We have endeavoured to provide all you need in the way of convenience with 16 amps electric hookups, 10m wide pitches, immaculate modern shower and toilet facilities, washing up station and free WiFi.
For that little extra touch there is a large communal decking area with fishpond for relaxing.
The site also has CCTV and a coded security gate for peace of mind.
We have weekly visits from the popular Jolly Roger’s mobile fish and chip van (currently Wednesday evenings at approximately 8pm) and the ice cream van often pops in during the summer season.

For that extra bit of luxury why not experience a stay in one our beautifully appointed self catering, family and pet friendly cottages?
We have two converted barn cottages to discover:-
Tawny Cottage with 2 bedrooms that comfortably sleeps 4 with an enclosed private garden or the larger Barn Cottage with 3 bedrooms that sleeps 6 with a private enclosed courtyard.
We offer three booking options for our accommodation including 3 or 4 night short breaks or a 7/14 night breaks. Our minimum stay requirement is 3 nights and all bookings must start on either Monday or Friday.

Monday or Friday – 7/14 night breaks
